Suspended between water and mountains, Lago is an uncorrupted temple of arthouse cinema, where you can seek inspiration for your next film. Lago Film Residency is a project by Piattaforma Lago and Lago Film Fest: a completely independent initiative developed without public funding. It is a three-week residency aimed at filmmakers of any nationality, age and film experience with a project at any stage of realization: conception, writing, development, editing or finalization.
Lago Film Residency will provide the chosen candidate with 3 weeks of free accommodation in Revine Lago (Italy), a studio to live and work in, meetings and exchanges with professionals and experts and moments of interaction with the local community.
The location of Lago di Revine Lago is perfect for having space and time to devote to autonomous and focused work, in an extraordinary natural environment and landscape. Taking advantage of the dreamlike location between the lake and the mountains, in a decentralised position of Lago within the UNESCO site Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene, the resident will have the opportunity to work quietly and autonomously on the new film project they have conceived, supported by ad hoc consultants and tutors in a context that attracts film professionals from all over the world every year.
Piattaforma Lago is an organisation that focuses on research, production and dissemination of art projects aimed at the activation of peripheral communities. Piattaforma Lago generates cultural and social well-being through processes of listening, reinterpretation and enhancement of international micro-communities. With Lago Film Residency, we want to imagine the village of Lago as a privileged space of inspiration and sharing for filmmakers from all over the world.
