Francesco Sossai is an Italian director, screenwriter, and assistant director, born in Feltre in 1989. He studied Languages and Literature at La Sapienza University in Rome and specialized in directing at the DFFB in Berlin, where he worked with directors such as Béla Tarr. His filmography includes his graduation feature film Altri cannibali (2021) and the short films Il compleanno di Enrico (2023) and Le città di pianura (2025), which have been presented at prestigious international festivals such as Cannes. The film Le città di pianura was created during a residency in Revine Lago.
