Martina Venturi

My name is Martina Venturi; I was born in Milan and I’m 28 years old. In 2020, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and in 2023, I received my acting diploma from the Laboratorio di Arti Sceniche, directed by Massimiliano Bruno. I recently completed my advanced training program for international actors at the Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione. So far, I’ve mainly worked as an actress in TV series directed by M. Bruno and R. Androsiglio, as well as in commercials. But here’s the thing: I also love to write. I mostly write about things that happen to me and that I enjoy sharing.

The project

What happens when four young people, fresh from a rave, find a black cat on the brink of death? They save it, of course. But the vet is adamant: it has to be put down. Except that once the euthanasia is done, already feeling deeply distressed, the four learn that the procedure costs €309. If they took care of disposing of the body themselves, however, perhaps the price could go down… The next day, the cat’s owner contacts the four; he wants to reimburse their expenses and thank them from the bottom of his heart—and, of course, get back the body of little Cherie, which, alas, they had already disposed of in their own way.
