Are you a young filmmaker dreaming of diving into a unique experience, walking through breathtaking landscapes and creating your next short film? This is your chance!

OTTANTAQUATTROMILA PASSI (WALKING FILMING) is a traveling residency that will allow you to experience the “La Giusta Distanza in Cammino” Festival from the inside, documenting and reinterpreting the journey through your cinematic vision.
Two selected filmmakers will have the opportunity to join a group of artists and spectators walking through the festival, attending performances, meeting artists, and experiencing the magic of the path.

📍 From the Grappa Massif to Pian delle Femene
What We Offer:
• Full board and lodging throughout the entire experience, and assistance with transporting filming equipment along the route
• Exclusive access to festival events and participating artists
• Mentorship from Mirko Artuso (cinema and theater actor-director) and other industry professionals
• Premiere screening of your short film at the 21st edition of Lago Film Fest (July 18–26, 2025)
How It Works:
• Your short film must be entirely shot during the walk
• The theme is open: let yourself be inspired by the journey and the encounters along the way
• The film must not exceed 10 minutes in length
• The film must be delivered by July 15, 2025 to be screened at the festival
Who Can Apply?
• Filmmakers of any age and nationality
• With any level of experience
• Equipped with their own technical gear (we do not provide technical support)
What You Need:
• Good physical endurance: the festival is a walking experience
• Technical autonomy for filming and editing
• Battery and suitable equipment for shooting on the move
How to Apply:
To submit your application, a €5 registration fee is required to support the project, which you can pay via this link.
Once payment is made, fill out the online form here and tell us about yourself! You can also send a link to any of your previous work. If you already have an idea for your short film, share it with us (not mandatory, but helpful for selection).
